ABSTRACT
Ethical or not, large numbers of people do sign up, and the Trust is able to massively expand its transplant programme. But there are certain organs which are still in short supply, such as hearts, brains and other things, which are outside the plan, owing to the rather final nature of such transplants for the donor.
