To do with method. To do with knowing, representing, signifying. To do with authorship, authority. To do with the nature of our field. To do with the character of what it is to be an expert in ‘our’ field. Whatever that field may be. Science, technology and society. Organizational studies. With any field. With the very notion of a ‘field’.
