ABSTRACT
The first decision to be made once the need for an accommodation review has been accepted is how to gather the information you need to provide a clear and detailed picture of where you are now. Perhaps, most importantly, you need to decide who will gather that information. Will you use existing staff, or will you employ external consultants? Colleges are also expected to provide a great deal of information on their estate to the FEFC, but many struggle with that requirement, owing to a lack of adequate resources available to provide the level of information and detail required.
