ABSTRACT
The Linguistic Society of America was an integral part of Adelaide Hahn’s life, personally and professionally. Here some of her most important friendships were formed and here she supported the developing discipline of linguistics and presented much of her research on ancient and classical languages, especially Hittite and Latin.
