ABSTRACT
Weissman et al114 propose a more rapid taper schedule, beginning at 16 mg/day (8 mg bid) for 4 days followed by 8 mg/24 h for 4 days and 4 mg/24 h until completion of RT. This procedure was well tolerated by their patients who had brain metastases.
