ABSTRACT
I want to consider more specifically now brain growth in the uterus and in early life and the influences that may help or hinder its growth and development. We are all aware that bad conditions and neglect can damage physical health and kill babies and infants. It is not so obvious that they may also affect the growing brain and leave a mark on the intellect.
