ABSTRACT
We are fortunate as clinicians when it comes to statins, for over the last
decade an unmatched portfolio of clinical trial results has been
assembled which forms the foundation of our evidence based practice.
The five largest statin studies to date are summarized in Table 4.1 and
these trials will be further reviewed and summarized below.
