ABSTRACT
This chapter illustrates some frequently used calculation methods, setting the steps
involved in each and showing where judgement is necessary in the use of the results.
Often in real schemes there are conflicting requirements, and compromise or a choice out
of several not-quite-perfect solutions is necessary.
