Executive summary

This study examines Spain’s structural changes in the 1990s tracing the economic developments, as well as the measures that were introduced in this period together with their implications. The study examines the macroeconomic performance of the economy, highlights the progress made in labour reform, analyses the changes in industry and evaluates the privatisation programme in Spain.
