ABSTRACT
Description: Lutropin alfa is a recombinant human luteinizing hormone (r-hLH) produced in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells using recombinant DNA technology. The product is a hereterodimeric glycoprotein, consisting of a 14-kDa, 92-amino acid α-subunit and a 15-kDa, 121-amino acid β-subunit. Luveris is presented as a lyo philized powder (3.4 µg, equivalent to 75 IU activity/ vial), to be reconstituted using the provided solvent prior to subcutaneous administration.
