ABSTRACT

Description: Novoseven is a recombinant human coagulation factor VIIa (rFVIIa), a serine protease involved in the coagulation cascade that terminates with the production of a fibrin clot. It is produced in baby hamster kidney (BHK) cells and is supplied in a lyophilized form to be reconstituted in water for injections, usually to a concentration of 0.6 mg/ml active ingredient (equivalent to 30 IU/ml activity). The product is administered by intravenous injection.
