EPIDEMIOLOGY The epidemiological data for SCC, BCC and MCC are similar. These are diseases of fair skin populations and those of Celtic origins seem to be more prone.1 The risk of NMSC steadily rises the closer one gets to the equator. More than 90% of NMSC develop in exposed areas of skin such as the head, neck and limbs.
