ABSTRACT

It is often helpful to be able to visualize some common Fourier transforms pairs. The following list is taken from Bracewell (1965), where the reader can find a more complete set of illustrations. Campbell and Foster (1961)18 have a much more extensive table of Fourier transform pairs, although the notation seems somewhat dated. Oberhettinger (1973 and 1990) also have extensive tables of Fourier transforms and Fourier series. In addition, BETA Mathematics Handbook (Råde and Westergren, 1990), is a useful compendium of mathematical formulas, including sections on Fourier and other transforms and examples both of more Fourier transforms and of certain Fourier series.
