ABSTRACT
A constant band-like or poorly-localized superficial pain experienced deeply over vertex, occiput or behind the eyes. Associated with occupational stress, lifestyle factors and mild depression. Anxiety about circumstances, hypochondria and fear of underlying brain tumour are reported by some patients. Simple analgesia relieves once reassurance and appropriate simple psychotherapy are instituted.
