ABSTRACT
The anatomical origins of such flaps available for use in head and neck surgery include the lower limb, the upper limb and girdle, the chest wall both anterior and posterior, the abdominal wall, the scalp and forehead and sections of the gastrointestinal tract. The most commonly used free flap in head and neck surgery is the radial free forearm flap.
