ABSTRACT
The combination of increasing both the fractional concentration of oxygen in the inspired gas mixture (FiO2) and its ambient pressure is known as hyperbaric oxygen. Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy finds several uses in maxillofacial surgery.
