ABSTRACT

An uncommon craniosynostosis. Typified by oxycephaly and syndactyly affecting hands and feet. There is variable impairment of IQ, palatal clefts and macroglossia.

Takayasu’s syndrome

There are two patterns. The first type characteristically affects young women. Inflammatory non-specific arteritis, mild toxaemia at outset and pulseless upper extremities including head and neck are typical clinical features. Chronic cases exhibit orthostatic syncope, epilepsy, facial atrophy, diffuse facial pain, and visual disturbance.
