ABSTRACT
In manual small incision cataract surgery (SICS) there is obvious need to adequately asses the patient ophthalmic suitability preoperatively through ophthalmic and general medical history as well as complete ocular examination and several special investigations. Complete ophthalmic check up and investigations results are analysed to ensure that surgical plan does not breach any surgical technical exclusions and to ensure best postoperative results.
