ABSTRACT

Words are powerful; ideas that follow from them are more powerful. There are certain ideas upon which the treatment in this book is based. Central is the necessity of addressing each person as part of a coherent system. I remember seeing a Sierra Club poster many years ago: a beautiful mountain valley in springtime, brilliantly colored wild flowers abounding. The caption read, “I bent down to pick a flower, and realized it was attached to the universe.”
