ABSTRACT

On March 21, 1989, I found myself aboard an American Airlines flight from Seattle bound for Los Angeles. The purpose of my trip was to speak briefly on the occasion of the family’s presentation of the papers and memorabilia of Gloria Hahn, author of the Korean American novel Clay Walls, to the University of Southern California Library.
