ABSTRACT
True duodenal diverticula are usually found incidentally and do not cause any symptoms. They often occur near the ampulla of Vater, and may impede access to the ampulla during an ERCR ‘Pseudodiverticula’ are acquired as a result of previous duodenal ulceration, and are thus usually found in the duodenal bulb.
