ABSTRACT

A degree of repetition is involved in the description of lessons so that each account stands on its own, with reminders about key aspects of the process for teachers who are not used to working in this way. There are, however, differences in emphasis in the commentary on each lesson and there is an indication of this at the start of each account. For example, in some lessons greater emphasis is placed on the way in which a context for the children’s own drawings is developed because of the drama techniques involved.
