ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I take a closer look at the Skills for Life strategy itself, as it has been spelled out – in the initial policy papers and in subsequently produced reports and strategic plans. The purpose of this chapter is to provide a critical reading of the main discourses that have informed the policy and this complements the more general discussion of Skills for Life in Chapter 6.
