ABSTRACT

The­ designers­ of­ mathematics­ curricula­ across­ the­ world­ seem­ to­ be­ moving­ to­ some­ ­similar­conclusions.­One­of­which­is­that­the­curriculum­must­encourage­flexible­thinking.­ ­Presumably­ this­ is­ to­ encourage­ good­ problem­ solving­ skills­ to­ complement­ good­ computational skills.
