ABSTRACT

Familiar themes? But what happens if you abandon these scenarios and I speak about what’s on your mind? Or try to define your own needs? At the heart of my talk (which loops about in all directions and is fairly global but has a central core) is my experience of beginning to speak out about something which others would rather not hear about. As part of this speaking out, what I am offering today is partly what has been called psychohistory, partly social history, partly analytical, partly oral, partly visual. For me, learning to speak about my conscious and unconscious history has become part of a healing process which I want to share.
