ABSTRACT
This final chapter will put the issue of preventive health into a broader context of medical care; the role of government and other policy-makers will be considered. This should serve to contextualise health psychology. Health is, inevitably, a political, social and cultural matter and the role of individual responsibility needs to be examined in these frameworks.
