ABSTRACT

A food sensitivity is defined as an abnormal physiologic response to a particular food. This same food is safe for the vast majority of consumers to ingest. Although only a small percentage of the population is likely affected, food sensitivities are viewed by the public as a significant health concern (1, 2).
