ABSTRACT
Previous chapters in this book have looked at the range of conservation works that have been and are being carried out by County Councils and National Park Authorities in caring for our Built Heritage. But there comes a point where we must ask ourselves ‘how do these examples achieve a wider audience, and how do the lessons that have been learnt lead to a greater public awareness?’
