concerned with technical cooperation in construction matters, mainly through some 90 Working Commissions. With headquarters in Rotterdam, its members include the world’s leading construction research organizations. There are three categories: full members, consisting of the larger national research institutions and industrial R&D organizations; associate members, smaller organizations which either because of the scale of their work or its nature wish to limit participation in CIB activities; and unattached members who are individual specialists.
