ABSTRACT
The Regeneration Through Heritage database constitutes a gazetteer of industrial buildings, many of which have been successfully restored and converted for contemporary economic uses. It includes projects that are currently underway, and examples of major redundant buildings that are awaiting conversion as well as numerous links to other relevant organizations. The database is part of the Regeneration Through Heritage initiative (see Chapter four) and is intended primarily as a resource for specialists, community groups, and local partnerships seeking new uses for industrial buildings.
