At the office – Bangladeshi stories of administration, management and change 1

It was during my third visit to Dhaka that I began to ask colleagues associated with the European Union-funded development project I was working with if it might be possible to identify a number of administrators and managers working for BRAC. The interviewees were either interviewed in my small city apartment, accompanied by a female friend if a woman, or at their place of work. Several of the respondents were interviewed twice.
