ABSTRACT
Pupils with multiple disabilities and visual impairment (MDVI) sometimes seem to belong to sub-groups that consist of just one child! The wide range and variety of combinations of disabilities are a characteristic of the population and a needs-led service must be organised to take this vast range into account. This chapter discusses how staff can be organised and managed by identifying clear roles and using effective work groups.
