ABSTRACT
The manufacture of gates consists basically of steelwork and machining services. Before starting manufacture, production flowcharts for the various components or equipment are prepared, with the following main steps:
• full-size layout drawings; • storing of raw material; • marking; • cutting; • curving; • welding; • finishing; • pre-assembly; • machining; • mechanical fit-up; • anticorrosive protection; • inspection.
