ABSTRACT

This chapter explores the sentimental memories that are part of everyday life, and the terms of a project for investigating connections in such life. Temporal sequences of social space in which there is a connection between the earlier and later occurrences in the sequence are said to be 'strings'. Cellular connectionism has been validated and its very success has given rise since the 1980s to formal connectionisms in the disciplines influenced by neuroscience. Causality seems most obviously needed because one comprehends generally how causes come to have their effects, which helps to explain how antecedent spaces can connect with consequent ones. Cellular connectionism has been validated and its very success has given rise since the 1980s to formal connectionisms in the disciplines influenced by neuroscience. Formal connectionisms emphasize mathematical modeling. The chapter also presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in this book.
