ABSTRACT
Ministry with children and young people presents special opportunities, responsibilities and challenges. For many of us these special needs make working with the young a daunting prospect. There is much about Christianity and the church that seems so adult. It can seem impossible to know how to pitch this in a way that is engaging or meaningful for younger people. A working knowledge of their psychological and religious capacities is therefore essential.
