TIP: Dependent clauses are created by subordinating conjunctions: words like although, because, since, while, etc. (See "Dependent clauses.")

TIP: Think about parentheses: commas go where you would put a parenthesis mark. If the extra information is at the end of a sentence, however, you only use one comma since English never puts a comma and a period right next to one another.
