ABSTRACT

This chapter will explore the use of the school Web site (www.mandeville.ealing.sch.uk) for enhancing teaching and learning in Mandeville School in west London, a school for children with severe learning difficulties (SLD). I am the ICT co-ordinator as well as being a class teacher at the school. We decided that the primary audience for the main site would be our children and that the Web site would reflect their experience but would also be a window on the world (www.mandeville.ealing.sch.uk/page2.htm).
