ABSTRACT
Services such as subject gateways (discussed in Chapter 14) help to make sense of the Internet’s disorder by dividing resources into categories designed to aid certain groups of users. Although these services are vital, they cannot cater for all the needs of individual users and it is likely that each user will also want to create their own lists of key resources.
