ABSTRACT
The use of the Internet as an academic and research network rapidly escalated following the introduction and widespread availability of the first multimedia browser for accessing the Web. With an increasing emphasis on student-centred learning, this growth is hardly surprising-the Internet offers an ideal mechanism to support learning through the provision of additional reading materials and multimedia interactive resources.
