ABSTRACT
Although everyone admits today that Latin alchemy from the Middle Ages is all founded on Arabic heritage, the transmission mechanisms have not yet been studied. The translations are not all discovered yet;1 their Arabic model is not always identified, their manuscript tradition is not known; the translator is only mentioned in a small number of cases.
