ABSTRACT
The following list of books, arranged very broadly according to the chapters in this book to which they most closely correspond, is simply intended to provide some ideas for further reading about third world politics. I have for the most part excluded books concerned with a particular country or region of the third world, and apologise to all those authors whose works I have omitted. The possible candidates for inclusion are endless, and my own reading largely determines what I have picked.
