ABSTRACT

Intensive studies regarding swimming specific analyses of physiological and biomechanical variables are performance-oriented (Gatti et al., 2004). Although it can be understood that motor aspects in the initial formation process are important in order to obtain technical efficiency entailing less energy expenditure when performing work and therefore improving performance (Oliveira, 2011). The systematized learning assessment contributes to the evolution (Xavier Filho and Manoel, 2002) and criteria for monitoring must be established to have an analysis standard regarding qualitative variables. Therefore, the objective of this study is to compare the effect upon a content package divided into specific and systematized modules to 6–17 year old children spread throughout provinces with distinct socioeconomic indices located in Pará and Espírito Santo, Brazil.
