ABSTRACT
Architecture is a creative activity; it depends on minds making sense of their surroundings and coming up with ideas for how the world might be changed, organised differently according to various criteria and attitudes…. In any creative activity there is an interplay between originality and the adoption and re-interpretation of ideas that have been used elsewhere. Even the most original of architects exploit ideas others have used before them.
