ABSTRACT

Political considerations have appeared throughout the other chapters too, of course, since an interest in political outcomes is deeply linked to the theoretical projects in gramscianism, right from the very first consideration of Gramsci’s work as a ‘philosophy of praxis’. This term urges us to develop socialist politics, but it also serves a theoretical function to provide a limit or ‘fix’ to relativism: given that all accounts are historically constructed, what makes marxism valid is its suitability for the politics of the time.
