ABSTRACT
Table 9.1 lists some of the most common components currently found in the Earth’s atmosphere. Note that not all substances are listed, e.g. neon, helium, hydrogen, particulate matter or pollutants. The concentrations are expressed as mixing ratios, or in ppm, and are average figures for the troposphere.
