ABSTRACT
My initial reaction when somebody says ‘support’ is having another person in the classroom, sometimes a teacher’s aide, sometimes another member of staff, either from this department or elsewhere, who will help those children who need it. If a teacher’s aide comes, they usually concentrate on the child or children they are responsible for, but not exclusively. They will always go round and help others as is necessary.
