ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the purposes of university education. What should be learned? What is the nature of the competence that graduates should develop? What sort of capabilities are necessary for them to take their place in the world as professionals? For us, this is a question of the university curriculum and is the most important question that can be asked about learning at universities.
