ABSTRACT
Problems with assessment Induction exists to help new teachers. Don’t see it as a threat, a barrier to get across, but view it as a great opportunity to be helped to make a great deal of progress in a short amount of time. The Career Entry and Development Profile (CEDP) (TTA, 2003b) should act as a guide from training into induction. It also has useful supplementary guidance and pro formas.
