ABSTRACT
Sidney Stringer Community Technology Coventry This is a student mentoring project (Year 12 with Year 8) managed by Sheila Chennells (PE, Deputy Head of sixth form and link teacher). Twenty students sat in a circle and the CSV adviser used the Barclays New Futures career skills questionnaire as a basis for the discussion.The following points and ideas emerged:
• Students are paired with a Year 8 mentee in class time in particular subjects but they also pursue a more informal (buddying) relationship as well.
