ABSTRACT
Those who work in education do well to think about the future: investing in the future is in large part what the whole business is about. The institutions in which we educate young people – the buildings and general environment, the deployment of teaching and non-teaching staff, the curriculum, activities outside the taught curriculum – all speak volumes about the aspirations we have for the young people who attend schools day by day.
